Why You Should Replace Your Damaged Garage Door

In celebration of Garage Door Safety Month we are giving our customers some helpful tips to keep their garage a safe place!

One key tip is to not rely on a damaged garage door. Repairing a damaged door really only puts a temporary bandaid on the situation. Replacing the damaged garage door is it the cost effective way to handle the situation, and it is also by far the safest. When a garage door is hit any number of the many working parts may be dangerously damaged, but temporarily working leading to a dangerous situation if you keep using it.

Additionally, there really is no way to fully remove the visual damage on the garage door. The two pictures included with this post are a good example of replacing the garage door. The garage door looks brand new in the second half of the collage. That type of look is not achievable with the old damaged garage door.

In addition to the safety benefits replacing your garage door in general is one of the top things you can do to invest in your home! Compared to what you spend on the garage door the value of your home will increase more then what you spend!

So if you ever find yourself in the unfortunate position of hitting or damaging your garage door you really should replace it with a new Overhead Door Garage Door!
